The Elipse sits directly south of the White House. It is this incredible expanse of green lawn. For those of you reading "The Lost Symbol" you will note yet another of the Dan Brown site tour in the background.
I have about 30 of these shots and it is impossible to pick "the best." This one grabbed me because you can tell he's enjoying the elements. The wind was phenomenally strong that day. The sky was clear and yet the air was crisp. It was a perfect representative of the perfect weather that DC produces approximately 16% of the year.
Jack was embracing the wind, but Pop was on the lookout for the random tornado or flying squirrel when he wasn't on his belly trying to get the shot.
